Itinerary:

Day 1 – Arrival in Nepal | Transfers from Gorakhpur to Pokhara

  • Upon arrival in Gorakhpur, meet our representative who will help you with your transfers to Nepal.
  • Complete the formalities at the border as you enter Nepal.
  • Continue your road journey to Pokhara
  • Today’s drive will be a scenic one as you pass through the beautiful forests and breathtaking valley views.
  • Pokhara is located 285 km north of Gorakhpur and it will take around 8.5 hours to complete the journey.
  • Upon reaching Pokhara, spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 2 – Sightseeing in Pokhara | Admire the Annapurna Peak from diffrent angles

  • Post breakfast in the morning, get ready to explore Pokhara.
  • Start off by visiting the picturesque Phewa Lake which is lined with the snow-clad peaks of the Annapurna range.
  • You can choose to visit the Barahi temple located on an island in the middle of the lake by taking up a boat ride (at your own cost).
  • Next, visit the oldest temple of the Pokhara Valley – the Bindabasini Temple which is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, who is Pokhara’s chosen guardian deity.
  • Later, visit Devi’s Falls which is also known as the underground waterfall as it creates a 500 feet long underground tunnel to reach its bottom.
  • Further, the downstream of Devi’s waterfall is connected to the holy Gupteshwar Cave that houses a Shiv Lingam inside.
  • Feel a sense of peace as you walk through the caves admiring the rock formations inside.
  • Spend the rest of the evening by the lake, shop from local stores around the area, or get your hands on some delicious local delicacies.
  • The landscape of the Annapurna & Machhapuchhre mountain range might make you want to stay back in Nepal.
  • Return back to the hotel in Pokhara for an overnight stay.

Day 3 – Transfer to Sarangkot | Marvel at the postcard perfect Himalayan Views

  • After breakfast in the hotel in Pokhara, board your transfer to Sarangkot
  • Before heading to Sarangkot, visit the International Mountain Museum, to get some interesting insights about the mountaineering world.
  • Later, begin your drive to which is located just 10 km from Pokhara and this journey will be completed in 30 mins.
  • Upon your arrival in Sarangkot, spend some time exploring the surroundings.
  • In the evening, head to the Himalayan View Tower to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Himalayan ranges.
  • This View tower offers stunning views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, the Manaslu Mountain Ranges, and the valley of Pokhara.
  • After spending a pleasant evening, return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Sarangkot.

Day 4 – Sarangkot to Chitwan | En route visit the Manokamana temple

  • After breakfast in the hotel in Sarangkot, board your transfer to Chitwan.
  • On the way you can visit the Manakamana temple, popularly known as the wish-fulfilling goddess.
  • Here, you can enjoy a short cable car ride to the temple as it is located on the hilltop.
  • Later, continue your drive to Chitwan National Park – one of Asia’s premier wildlife reserves spread across 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests that are home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species.
  • Nestled at the foot of the Himalayas, Chitwan has a particularly rich flora and fauna and is home to one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal Tiger.
  • Today’s drive will be a scenic one as you pass through the beautiful forests and breathtaking valley views.
  • Chitwan is around 170 km from Sarangkot and thus this drive will take approx 6 hrs to reach.
  • Upon reaching Chitwan, spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Chitwan.

Day 5 – Adventure Day | Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park

  • Wake up to a beautiful morning surrounded by the chirping of birds and fresh air.
  • Have a hearty breakfast in the hotel and get ready to participate in some of the jungle activities.
  • You can go on an adventurous jeep/ elephant safari in the National Park (at your own cost).
  • Explore the exotic wildlife of Chitwan by also going on nature walks, bird watching, or taking a boat ride through the forest.
  • Upon completing your jungle activities, return back to the hotel in Chitwan.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Chitwan.

Day 6 – Chitwan to Gorakhpur | Depart with happy memories

  • Wake up in the morning and have a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
  • Later, start your journey back to Gorakhpur which is around 220 km, and will take approx 6.5hrs to complete the journey.
  • This trip to Nepal concludes once you are dropped in Gorakhpur at your desired location for your onward journey.
